Refrigeration Industries & Storage Co. S.A.K. (RISCO) was established by Amiri Decree on March 8th 1973 as the national need for a specialized company in providing strategic refrigerated warehouse services.

Initially its primary goal was to fulfill a national need for an efficient cold storage handling facilities for maintaining a basic strategic stock of foodstuff for emergencies and to serve the needs of local producers, importers and dealers of perishable foodstuff. This function has been achieved on a continuing basis by the PUBLIC COLD STORE DIVISION.

Logistics & Projects Division

RISCO's services include Warehousing, Transportation, International Freight Forwarding, Fleet Management & Container Maintenance. Our systems focus on three functions - Supply, Storage & Distribution. RISCO is well equipped to meet and exceed any of our customer's storage requirements ranging from dry, air-conditioned, chilled and frozen storage.

Manufacturing Division

The last addition to RISCO's diversification was the Manufacturing Division for Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment. Operation started in October 1981 with a primary aim of establishing a local A/C factory thus providing its customer with locally manufactured units that can fulfill local requirements and can withstand the hard local climatic conditions.
